Unbrained new players
Hi there,

That's not new, every time a game turn free the community get a lot worse. But frankly, when you are being kicked because you leveled a charger, you bashed a hunter or you cut a tongue, that's really REALLY annoying. 20- Hours players tell me what to do and cry every time I'm a cheater. Can you just shut up 100 hours more and learn gameplay mechanics before shout every time "CHEAT !" ?

Yes, you can cut Smoker's tongue, yes, you can bash Hunter and Jockey while they are jumping, yes you can one shot a charger with a melee (level), yes you can kill a witch in one shoot.

For god's sake please Valve make tutorials for L4D2, I laugh no more when I see a player as a hunter who run to me for a hug. How many time did I see a jockey crouching like a hunter before jump ? How many time did I trolled a Tank just by running in circles around him ? ....

I understand fully that when a game is free a influx of players that arent good or dont understand some of the game, im a free player but not all of us are like that( i was blammed as a cheater on my second game) im still learning and so are they, they will figure it out, its like being patient with children.

Luccio, everyone is bad at games at the beginning. I love new guys who try to play. As long as they try to be a team, I don't care if they can't rush through the level super fast.

@Delamok I didn't mean that I was THE PGM of the death, I just said that I'm experimented (1100+ hours), and that's really annoying when new players try to learn you something really basic.
@frekky I understand, we all were noobs. But there is 2 types of noobs : the good and and the bad ones. The good one try to understand the gameplay and listen to the advice which some advanced players gives. The bad one is... Well, I think you understand what I mean.

What is the point of giving a 18+ years game to 10 years old kids ? I guess we must say "thanks valve".

Newbie may evolve into normal player or noob. You see the difference between newbie and noob in the way they play, newbie may act goofy, try to interact with background, constantly ask you questions like: "Hey, if this acid hurts then why can it be carried by that zombie?" or "Hey, will the burning Jockey/Charger/Hunter make you die faster" or ask which weapon is better. Noob is trying to kick everyone on sight, is constantly teamkilling, griefing, talking on microphone about stuff no one cares about, steals all the healing stuff, constantly heals himself as Zoey.
The best way to tell Newbie from Noob is to see if he tries to lead, if he tries to lead and does noob stuff, he is noob. If he keeps close distance, then he is newbie who likes to hang out with more skilled player.
Fortunatly, I only see newbies in my days, I once tried to teach group of them, they still struggle with Dark Carnival on normal, but, they are at least trying!

@Misaki : I agree with you. You perfectly described the "good" and the "bad" noobs I referred in my previous post. You should see what a "bad" noob can do in Payday 2 ...

@Lunatix : PEGI 18 in red does shock parents eyes no more. But you have worse : see 7 years old childs playing GTA V... Just look at Trevor's introducing scene to see what I mean ...
Basically, Valve try to make money before listen to the community. See TF2 : the game's community is absolutely dumb but Valve made much money turning it free.
Still, we are lucky that L4D2 is not "free" as we can think, Valve just gifted it to a big crowd but it's enough to make the community worse.

So thanks Valve for making good games, but I won't thank you for giving it to bad hands. Good games should stay payable, and child games free. That's all.

Would love if they could post small "tips&tricks" at the top since im quite new to this game!

But i can say that the ones that have played a lot are not so good teamplayers since they go with their tactics and if the other ones dont follow their tactics are noobs, the problem is when u have 3 people like this which it often seems to be and me runing in the middle trying to save all 3...

With that grammar, looks like they're not the only "unbrained" player.
