l4d2 isnt scary at all

i want to make l4d2 a scary game. i got the gun mods i like, the commons are nazi zombies because thats what i like, but if anyone knows of mods that can enhance any fear. id love to check it out, just leave the mod name andif its workshop or l4dmaps.

i want legit horror, nothing freaky like teletubbies tryin to eat me XD

it can be common infected, specials, a darker appearance for maps, etc. i want to feel like im playing F.E.A.R. and Almo is following me.

left 4 dead 2 was never meant to be survival horror, it's a pure action shooter.
try games like amnesia, outlast or free indie horror games like scp containment breach, the groundskeeper, etc.

no horror game is scary. only 1 that made me nervous was fear when you hear alma is near you.

but i like more twisted games, and i like this so i wanted mods to make it abit creepier to play.

but getting "its not meant to be scary" 5 times in a row, doesnt help. so guess im on my own.

well, thats sad. i was atleast hoping for a filter to make things look alittle creepier, like more blood, or a darker appearance.all i found was black and white.

If you want a horror game on the source engine, try No More Room In Hell. It's more or less a Romero movie, if you were in it. And most of the surviviors were children. For the love of god, if you DO play NMRIH (This means anyony who reads this) look up the Official Manual before you play. And remember:

1. Melee weapons are your main weapons. Save guns for large hoards, and runners.
2. If you see a player fall down on their knees and then faceplant, they are infected, and are about to turn into a zombie. SHOOT THEM!
3. Press C to bring up the compass, V to push zombies away and hold R to AmmoCheck your gun. This shows you what ammo it takes, and how much you have.

i have no more room in hell. wasnt a fan. i hit a zombie like 5 times and it didnt die. it hit me once and i died.

EDIT: plus, i love left4dead alot. but i mostly play it in the dark. so i wanted mods to add darker music, and darker(like evil looking, not dark as in no light) looking map.
