Is it just me or there are hackers in this game?

I have a week playing with some friends, and in around 6 Versus games we faced some guys / friends playing the game like on psycho Professional mode, it was even ridiculous, you could just spawn and boom headshot, you could be behind a wall miles away from the survivors and somebody would just shoot you and kill you, we have spectated their gameplay and they are always aiming at infected behind walls. And it's funny, because in 2 of those 6 games Steam didn't find any player in our current game so we weren't able to report them for aim botting or game breaking, because there's no way that you can play like that, it's just impossible.

I have a 5.1 sound system, and It really doesn't work, I have had a friend behind me and I won't really hear him behind me. So the 5.1 support in L4D2 I suppose isn't that nice. Also, I'm really sure those guys were aim botting it's likethe videos from YouTube, I know what do you mean that there can be good people, those are easy to tell, but what I'm talking about is an exageration.

Did you set 5.1 in your windows settings and in the game ones?

Get some good headphones then because it sounds like your sound system is messed up.

Probably some cheapo surround setup they grabbed from walmart that they arranged wrong. Directional audio in the game is spot on when setup right. As far as the hackusations I guarantee just another case of noobs that think they have decent fps chops getting schooled by some asshats that have devoted a solid portion of their life to this game.

As far as not finding them in game I couldnt tell you how often the the overlays crap gets beyond ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just yesterday It showed a friend that wasnt even online as the only person in any server I was on for the entire day.

Probably not - but I can't say for certain.

I was playing yesterday and I was on top of my game against a noob team. I sniper head shot most of them as soon as they spawned and they claimed I was aim botting.

Then today I played with someone who killed me as a hunter when I was behind a bilboard. I wasn't croutched or making any noise, so I asked for a screenshot and it turned out she was playing legit. Probably heard me leap up there and guestimated where I was.

yea. kid thought i was aimbotting cuz i got his smoker behind the sign.. he didnt know the ashes revealed his spot over the sign lol.

i love hackers.
if they got a aimbot, and you still kill them, they really suck. so its fun to mess with them.

Its hard to actually catch a hacker since there lack of a quality anti-cheat. There are a lot of great players out there, but we have dealt with playing against a whole team of cheaters in the versus. That particular bunch was definately using an aimbot and wallhack. But there is little you can do, other than to put up a demo, or report it here, even then, nothing is done.

I killed this spitter once on my first shot after about five minutes of it trying to spit on me and missing bad. The player started spamming me saying I was a "Hacking N00B".

I have integrated sound and the 2 $5 speakers that came w/ this 400 dollar computer and i can hear the directional audio just fine. Keep in mind my speakers are set up perfectly for what they are.

No doubt he's a free player and noob.. and... calling the people who actually purchased the game one year or 2 ago "hackers"...!!! :o Steam fix the block function!
