to everyone that cries about "the new players"

We should be friendly and teach the newbies, instead of spit in their faces, because of people like you, that the Left 4 Dead Series and other online co-op games are dying slowly.

I hope you get your refund and never come back, we don't need people like you.

That's kinda hypocritical, making an argument by insulting people, nice job.

Always welcome the new players, if you hunt them away.. hey look , the game is dead. Wonder how that happened?

Definately, Welome all you new players

The game is cruel, and one mistake can grant the victory for another team. That's why people rather kick low hours players from good games, than let em screw up the game. If they would separete the high hour players and newbies, community wouldn't hate noobs so much. I agree, the game need new players. But if you put 18-years old guy who drives car first time to formula f1 and he crashes cars, slowing down others etc..do you think the other drivers would smile and enjoy the situation?

Or.. simply , a "matchmaking" system? Would be good now, but before there were only 8K people daily on. Matchmaking system would almost do no good in that situation.

1 mistake? I call BS.
If you are playing that kind of match, you are on a private server playing all vets. Kicking somone from a pub for low gameply hours is just rude and elitist and that is not what this game needs. Take some time, try to teach them. If they respond to that by being rude of refusing to learn, then kick them, but give them a damn chance first

Tell him, guess he doesn't realize that he was once a noob too. Hopefully he goes to play some other game and they show him the same disrespect. You didn't make the game kid, the l4d2 community will be just fine without you. We won't be sad if you leave.

Sure you can call whatever you want, but the game is designed for campaigns, not versus imo. It's too easy for humans. Most of chapters are just running from safe room to saferoom and winner is calculated by damage. So by one mistake I mean situations like this. Scores are about even and someone screw up the karma charger spot or something..dies by tank..you know. So. Your team will lose hundreds of points and another team will win. Id want to give a chance to new players, but its impossible if another team doesnt have noobs. Level difference is _huge_ if you compare 0-100h and 800h+ players

Yea! Everybody should be nice and teach the new players. And we all were newbies before right?

so you are complaining that in VS. a new player will die and make your overall score lower and what does this effect? are you playing ladder ranked matches (Oh wait) are you worried about your season score (Um yeah) maybe you think your overall stats are gonna be negativly effected (are you seeing what im saying here?) ITs a game, It has no relevency past that one game. really this is about having fun, if you just have to win every match, form a group and play without new players, but dont expect PUBLIC servers to cater to you and you only

There's no decent stats about players. Nobody wants to lose, but everyone wants to get a good game and if they are good players, they want challenges and chances to win. I couldn't care about the win or lose, but like stated..it's also a teamgame. If you know what you are doing, you also expect others to know what they are doing. If a hunter jumps on victim, he expect spitter is spitting on him. Not on free player who's running around. My point is, everyone wants to play with guys who are at their level. Newbies do not want to play against guys who will deadstop every hunter, level every charger and run to saferoom with full hp. And vice versa.
