Can't get GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT achievement

I have L4D2 since 2011, i pressed by mistake "instal" button and i got in DLC menu in library one new DLC "Left 4 Dead 2 - Christmas 2013". Now i can't get the last achievement, because game is thinking that i'm the new player. That is my theory. I tried 3 times and nothing. I'm sure that i was playing with holiday player. Is possible to remove that DLC from my game or just get this achievement?

So... people with free game can't get this achievement (with another free players)? Steam do not have a useful setting for remove DLC's, try to send message to steam support and they must delete your "DLC".
(The game gives you an option to launch as a normal game or free mode?)

I played with a free Holiday player and both (me and him) got the achievement.

I played with my friend Crash Course campaign, and we didn't get achievements. He was playing on his second account, when he get L4D2 for free.

Same problem for me. I accidentally clicked "Install" button and I can't get GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT achievement either.
2 people of my friends(A and B) and me played toghter. A is new player, B and me are not, but only I accidentally clicked "Install". After playing a campaign only B got the achievement.

Same issue for me, I decided it was important enough to bother the people at Steamsupport about it.

I did the same with two of my friends who were also playing from secondary accounts - their L4D2 as free as was mine, and no achievo.
Now we know that "free" player can't help another "free" player. BUMMER.

i have the same problem :c who can help me what should i do? I played with new players and giving me yet achieved

Noone can. It's broken currently. Wait for fix as I'm sure they will come.
