Not sure valve care or can fix the issue though, if it is actually a problem with their server and or client software?
They get your steam client ID and use a database server to query what server your client is playing on from what i recall, and then they have that server you are on targeted by a DDoS. They don't even need to be in the game for this.
I see vac-secure...but i've seen a few people who had no profiles or games just blank accounts able to join....i block all people i run into like that..but it seems like theirs alot of "funny" stuff going on lately on L4d2...
LOL RIGHT? I could only ever dream of ping less than 25, and routinely fluctuate between 40-70 under normal circumstances. International play can leave the whole team dealing with 160-220 ping in my experience.
Also your gonna struggle to find who did the DDoS with proof as IPs are genrally spoofed.
