He said making one mistake gets him kicked. Missing a charge is just an example. You can get kicked in both campaign and versus.
People in campaign are alot more forgiving, more so on lower difficulties. In versus however, nobody is willing to put up with mistakes and most play to win. Nobody likes to lose, and nobdoy likes the person who MAKES them lose. Every special infected you use is a chance to do damage to the enemy team and if you go around wasting them, then not only are you hurting your team, but you're wasting everyone's time. They would rather have a bot than a noob.
rofl. exactly.
I understand Red Eclipse's explanation, but sometimes it happens even when I have the most points on the team.
Get 3/4s+ of an incap on your teamates each map.
Have terrible aim with anything that has a decent spread.
You could drag down any team.
We all make mistakes, its not like we can play flawlessly in a game all the time. I wouldn't worry about it just block & avoid those kind of people & play with friends.
Well points just shows how useful you are to the team. People who play versus are always looking for a scapegoat to blame when things go badly. Someone runs ahead and gets pounced by a hunter and dies, then blames the team for not being there to save them and quits the game.
Versus is a very sensitive type of game that brings out the competetive edge in most people, so when they one mistake they flip out because they demand perfection and want to win.
Most players won't mind if you miss a charge, as long as you go back in for punches or don't run off a cliff and die, as long as you do something. Most of the ones you see that freak out over the smallest things are immature and don't know how to handle things like adults.
As for missing charges, a little trick is to get as close as possible before the charge, prefferably when the team is distracted like a boomer attack. COme right up behind them and mow them all down. Also go for a long distance carry, you won't survive long if you grab one and carry him a 4 inches away. Also try to knock down more than one, more people on the ground means less gunfire on you.
I wasn't even aware Minecraft had a community. 100% of my time in Minecraft has been spent on a friend's private server, and I have never seen a server browser in the game. I just assumed you either played alone or on a friends server.
