Starting A Custom Campaign

Okay so I wish to start a Custom Campaign map, I understand that you can't do custom camps on Official servers, that's totally understandable. So I must then durn to a best available dedicated, no problem doing that don't mind at all, I would host a local but I wish to play a public game so people can join if they want, I know my internet isn't the fastest out there but it get's the job done for me hosting on the other hand I can't do and I know I can't do it so I don't do it to keep from pissing people off. So I try to connect to the best available. Does anybody know how I can start a custom camp on a best available server and be able to choose what server I use? Because let's face it there's too many best available servers that use perk mod, or infinite ammo no reload, insta-smoker pulls and all this other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that makes playing the game pointless. I used the sever browser with the console but every time I pick one and try to start a custom camp my game crashes to the dekstop.

Now I have tested just connecting to a server I found through the server browser. I have read things that say I will have to connect first and then change maps with the console but that then creates a listen server. So that means nobody in the public category would be able to join me I guess. If anybody could offer some insight as to how I can create a lobby with public permissions and at the same time avoid getting put into one of the game ruining servers please comment your advice.

Also if you are a person who likes perk mod or any of that other stuff and you consider it fun, don't get pissy and comment how I'm an idiot or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for not liking that stuff. Not everybody wishes to have a heavily modded game. Only mods I enjoy are skins for my guns and maps, I like the original game mechanics and don't desire all these extra assistance things, so if you like all that stuff please keep it to yourself and don't post about it on here, because not everybody likes the same stuff.

Selecting Local Server and inviting friends is the only way I know how to do custom campaigns.

the best avalable server are not a good servers ,best servers are local servers.

Yeah so I have noticed. I've started just hosting local servers when I do run a custom and just tell people to deal with it and not ♥♥♥♥♥ when they connect lol
