Addon Campaign Issue

So me and a friend are unable to play maps together that are ADDON campaigns "Map does not match the version on the server (String table differs)

We are using the exact same addon from the Workshop

We have only ever been able to play 1 map, and we would like to play together on these maps but have never been able to fix this issue

Any suggestion for fixing this issue?

Servers most of the time don't have the Workshop version installed, but the one from http://www.gamemaps.com/l4d2/. Get it there and try again.

The server probably has an old version. The workshop auto updates for players, but a server admin would have to manually fix it. Try locally hosted map, or find another server to play on.
