That's normal in Valve games. Elevators and boats usually do this..
Can you describe what "clipping animations" are? I did a quick google search, and it looks like animations taking a pause, or something like that. I just want to understand.
If I stay still during the ride, looking around feels smooth. It's only when I begin to move around that it starts to feel jerky.
The jerky movement must be a feature, because it felt like I was feeling the vibrations from the ferry's engine. It's not really a big issue tbh, just a bit uncomfortable..
Sometimes people fall thru floors or suddenly die by weird causes. Blame the source engine, lol.
