I keep getting kicked.
I keep getting kicked. I don't know why, maybe because I hadn't played in a while so I am sorta sh**. Why do people do this? Thank you in advanced for replying.

:Edit: I was playing Versus mode in Left 4 Dead 2.

I know the game, you are on the forum for it. lol.

But yeah, versus is taken serious(even though 90% those players suck in general at teamwork.)
So if you got lower hours, or make a mistake, they will kick you really easily.

The bots move on their own. Good for practice, harder than with people. The other team survivors will be stronger than you.

But you can practice infected by hitting M every round to switch to zombies. Best of all, no kicking

Yes, I am rubbish at L4D2. I will get better with practice. I don't need random strangers reminding me I'm rubbish. :|
Don't wanna get kicked? Don't join vs, pretty simple. I've seen people run back damn near half a map to pick up a pipe bomb and end up getting pounced or smoked or jocked or charged, and I'll tell you it's faaaairly often. So, to avoid such headache, those people get kicked. All it means is I won't have to deal with them again, especially when I block them. Am I, or the others on the team ♥♥♥♥♥ for kicking? No, we simply wanted a better player, and the person being kicked isn't banished from l4d2 for all of life, they just can't join my games. I see no problem with that.

Short Answer: You are getting kicked because the two or three other players on your team are not having fun playing with you.

I just find it annoying that people kick me just for the fact that I am relearning the game. But yes, someone going back all the way for a pipebomb (a grenade I personnaly hate, I like Molotovs) is quite annoying.

Follow these tips and you might be kicked less

Survivors: Stick to your team and move together. Do not go into that other room to pick up that extra pipe bomb. Don't explore the game like you're playing a rpg. Learn the maps and follow the quickest and shortest way to the safe house. Pay attention to everything that's happening around you and watch your teammate's back.

Infected: Attack in teams, always. Unless you're a spitter and you can stall the other team with your spit while your team is respawning. Example: spitting on a fallen survivor while another is trying to pick em up.
