Strange lag.

Ok, so I've been experiencing this thing for the last 7 months, when I join a game it runs perfectly smooth except for this weird occurance where I can still walk around but everything else is frozen in place. Players stand still and infected hold the same stance and if an infected is in the middle of an animation like climbing or dying, it will repeat that animation over and over until it stops.

I've seen regular lag but I've never seen something like this before, so I have to ask. Is this happening to anyone else? Is this just regular lag and I'm just sounding dumb? Is there anyway I can fix it?

P.S. I'm not considered a computer guy so if you start spouting off tech talk and abhreveations I won't know what you're talking about so just bear with me. Thanks in advance.

Same issues. I can't play with friends because Iget that auto disconnect thing like 30 times per chapter, but mine may just be my connection.. :/

meh, this has happend before. I will just wait until it is fixed, or if it doesn't brighthouse can fix it... again.

try turning off multicore rendering in the game settings,it worked for me when i was having the same issue recently

along time ago i have a bug with some internet provider i have some problems in all source games, that i don't see the position of someone random in the game, like l4d2 some times a friend of mine is still in the safe room(obvius its a fake/wrong position), i can see he rotating, jumping and firing taking damage, but he don't move it only happen when my ping go high for some times, another problem i have with old provider is some times i can chat but can't move or make anything and after a few minutes i get kicked from timeout or overload something like that, i don't know how to fix that i just change the provider and never had problems like this more

Actually it didn't fix it, it's actually happening more often now. Any more suggestions?
