Abusive Kicking system.
Always...When joining server some group of 3 of people vote against me right away. Even without giving me a chance. Since if people even wait for a friend...WHY NOT EVEN ASKING NICELY TO LEAVE?! Where are the manners!? Where is humanity? All I know this vote kicking system is officially UNBALANCED!
This things I noticed while playing L4D2 for 450 hours...
Votekicking is used in-100%
Change to alltalk is used-40%
Return to lobby-5-10%
Change chapter-50%

Still I would say it's pretty abusive to add such unbalanced kicking system to the game...just there is no way to change people's way to end this.

You can hardly win half your games and you deal out enough friendly fire every map to nearly incap a teammate.

Id give you one proving round max then baibai

Oh look, another another thread complaining about kicking.
How exactly is it unbalanced? If the rest of the team wants you gone, you're gone. It couldn't be any more balanced. Play with friends to avoid being kicked, or deal with it.

Yes, players can be nice and ask you to leave, but in doing so, they risk you saying no, wasting items, friendly firing, and wasting time. In L4D, actions taken within a few seconds can make or break the game. Whether they kick you or ask you to leave, the end result is the same anyway, you do not get to participate in their game. Why would you choose to take something as trivial as getting kicked from a game so personally? This isn't something to cry over. They made room for a friend, and they didn't want to play with you. You are not a special snowflake. Move on.

There is nothing abusive nor unbalanced about anything you've mentioned.

Or.. the other 3 players that wanted a private game should've created a private lobby instead of keep kicking everyone who connects.

Very ignorant way of looking at it when many other games don't have this retarded problem. When the best way to "deal with it" is to play a different game, you shouldn't be advocating for its defense.

How exactly is it ignorant? If you join someone else's game and everyone that was already there wants you gone, why should you get to stay? Some misguided naive notion of pseudo-fairness? Please. Every system in every game will be abused, and if the kicking system was removed, public matches would be unplayable due to the trolls now being unstoppable. If the three other people on your team do not want to play with you, they should be allowed to kick you, whatever their reasons. That's fair. Suggesting otherwise is ignorant.

I said deal with it because Valve obviously isn't going to change anything almost 5 years after release. And no, the best way to deal with it is to stop taking everything personally and just find another match, not play a different game.

Based on anecdotal experience, I think Restless hit the nail on the head with this one.

Being polite and asking players to leave during an expert game usually activates some kind of team killer switch and I find myself on the receiving end of deliberate friendly fire... zzz
