I need best weapon set up for expert.
I didn't earn the "Something To Prove" achievement fairly, I was messing with admin system alot and ended up getting it, so I'm working on getting it fairly now so I have bragging rights. XD

(Only doing this on Single Player)
So far I beat Dead Center easily, only restarted 1 round on the finale. The rest was knocked out without a single death until then.. Not bad for bots.

Now I'm working on the parish.
My question, What weapons are best for expert?
(the alarm part is kicking my ♥♥♥ on chapter 2)

Right now I have chrome shotty, with a machete (only really trade for a auto shotty or spas.)
I got great aim on single player so my shotgun isn't touching the bots at all.

Couldn't you also do this while doing the Gib Fest mutation?

Otherwise, I typically like to run my games with a PSG-1 (or whatever you modded it to be) and a Magnum/Katana.

Well, then I stand by my sniper loadout. When I play on Expert, I like to be the one who hangs-back and lets the bots (or other players) take all the hits for me. And since I'm taking the least amount of damage, that opens me to the options of sharing my recovery items more. It also keeps you safe from most attacks. And in-turn, you can do a lot of damage from the back of the group, especially to special infected. And seeing as how you can use a shotgun without commiting too much friendly-fire, aiming shouldn't be an issue for you, which makes the sniper rifle an ideal weapon because you can pick-off infected from extreme ranges before your group even has to get their hands dirty. As for whether you want to use a magnum or katana, that depends on whatever you feel more comfortable with.

In SP with bots, starting each map with shotgun+magnum works for me. Once witches have been killed/crowned (because bots tend to startle her and die), my preference reverts to range weapon+melee.

As for the parish bridge finale, I like to slowly shoot my way in with an AK or SCAR+Machete until the first weapon/ammo drop (shortly before climbing up the slope); then switch over to rushing with a Shotgun+Machete combi that will carry me all the way to the chopper.

Shotgun for witches
Gas can for tanks
Bile jar for rushing events

Bots are good for soaking up bullets

Depends what you like...
I prefer shotty + magnum for expert. I just don't like focusing on aiming when horde comes. And usually no friendly fire, only some rare accidents.
Some people prefer sniper and melee.

Whatever best for your gamestyle.

I did it solo, with bots.

Secondly theres no best set up for any difficulty. Just pick whatever weapon you want to use and kill the zombies before they kill you

Oh, question, After I beat all levels, I'm going to play realism-expert Dead Center.

What I need to know, Tank's die real easy and quick beause I always keep a molly on me. Does realism add any extra health to him? or same old tank?

that WAS the answer to your question. Im implying that the difficulty has the only affect on the tank, not the game mode. Tank health will be calculated by the difficulty. Realism or otherwise.

No realism mode does not augment your weapon damage, but common infected have a damage reduction to body shots.Witches also gain a high damage reduction, and can never be crowned. Tanks however stay the same as do all the other specials aside from the witch.
