Tired of going alone...but hate rushing with real players
I'm very methodical when it comes to this game. It's fun so i get immersed pretty easily. I'm looking for people to play L4D2 with that can enjoy the zombie killing without feeling the need to "rush" through the levels! If that sounds like you hit me up.

Most experienced players move quickly through the levels to avoid spawning hordes and giving the chance for more damage from special infected. I'm not condemning your style of play or anything, I just thought I'd let you know why people tend to do that. I wish you luck.

I'll also add that while most experienced players can hold their own with either speed style, it is the people who constantly demand to crawl through maps that end up being the liability by making fatal errors. They falter in any situation that demands quick reflexes or fast movement because they're forever stuck on a slow speed setting.

I'm sure you wont have a problem finding other new players to crawl maps with you, but you should know that the real challenge lies in playing quickly, running through hordes, and making snap decisions; not in searching every nook and cranny for items you do not need.

1) Play Single Player. The bots will follow you. And will not kick you from games.
2) Friends Only games. Another reliable method if you want to have games go well.
3) Suck it up. And do what you need to do in Public Games.

I'm pretty sure he is referring to Single Player when he says "Tired of going alone".

Visi is correct, and I'm not saying I'm bad or complaining I was just hoping to find others like my play style. I'm all for running through at a fast pace because you're right you do have to make snap choices that can alter the game or lead to your demise from the hoarde!!!

Play with people in public, make friends with cool people.
That's what I did, now we goof around while campaign. Sometimes rush, sometimes move slow as fizzuck.

I don't get it. It's always going slow or rushing. Are there really not anything between these two? Btw, OP I would recommend you to try survival, sounds like something more to you.

Just ... stay away from Versus. I do not feel that Campaign has much rushing but anyway ... play it and add people to your friendlist if they play the way you like. Eventually you have a long list of same-minded "friends" to play with.
