That isn't possible anymore.
You had to play with somebody who didn't own the game, but was able to play it on a free weekend.
You should, however, be able to get Ghost of Christmas Present if you play the game with somebody who got it for free on Christmas.

Speaking of which, if there's somebody who wants to help me out with that achievement, that'd be fantastic.

they have had free weekends a few times already.
you should be able to get it next time they offer it.

It's kind of a weird dualism. You have to pay for the game, but you also need to play with somebody who didn't pay for it.

I got the Ghost of Christmas Present. I wasn't even sure how I got it. It was one of my very first achievements I got after buying the game. No idea how it happened, I just played and it came up.
