Why does valve allow hackers, cheaters and DDOSers?
VAc reporting does nothing. Still people are allowed to wallhack and cheat in the game even if I report them for obvious wallhacking.

"Valve forum admin response": "you cant acuse people blah blah blah, it is again steam community guidelines blah blah blah... i ban you from steam community now blah blah blah"

No, I can accuse them. I know 1,000% percent for a fact that they are hacking. The problem is that VAC is automated. an algorithmic system that doesn't have the benefit of human judgement on its side. This is the flaw.

Not enough valve employees to investigate reports. However, valve does have enough volunterr admins to ban people from steam community who they dont like and who they feel are "supposedly" violating steam community guidelines.

Valve admins banned me from the steam community before for "supposedly" 'innapropriately spamming invites'... WOW! Really?? I innapropriately spam invites and you allow others to hack? and spam invites to groups that have pictures of naked men and women with innapropriate names? REALLY???

What is your proof that i innapropriatly spam invites Provide proof of this. Because I have received literally hundreds of spam invites to troll groups via the steam community, and NONE have been banned... Now what say you?

I can now see why valve has a solid "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Immature employees who are employed as admins who ban people for whatever reason they feel.

Ban me again. This time do it permanently. I don't care. I'll take it with pride. I've been a good valve customer for years. But go ahead and ban me just because you dont like this post and can't answer my question.

Bring it.

They dont allow them. They just cant actually do anything to stop them.

So when in doubt: Just make more hats and hope the problem eventually solves itself.

I admit I have a VAC ban. Just see my profile for yourselves. However. How I got the ban SHOULD have been up to human discretion. Something I agree with the OP. I got banned for using somethings similar to the L4D 2 workshop add - ons. But they did not have V.P.K files back in 2006 - 2007. And even the website I got the add - on is still up & running. Something I wish Valve would do to take it down.

My friend got banned for the same exact thing. I highly doubt they was spamming invites. But the mods on here let people have some pretty messed up names on here that have cuss words or have the slang terms for the male and female anatomy along with other taboo terms involving forceful sex on a women. But they allow this even tho the steams tos says its not allowed.
To be a mod on here you should have to take a 10 page quiz on the steams tos and pass it with a 100%.

!ban cake 0 "harrasement"

Lol, but since the forums and such are owned by a private company, they can do whatever Lord Gaben decides to do.

Also, i find it funny how you state nobody gets banned. On CS:GO they do a massive ban wave, then the game happens to go on sale. I don't see why that would not happen on L4D2.

Welp, here's another misinformed OP that takes ♥♥♥♥ opinions and attempts to make facts from them. By you spamming a report button doesn't make the vac happen any faster. It's as if pressing the elevator button repetitively is going to make it come down faster, when it's not programmed that way (yes, elevators are programmed, hence the shiny electronic buttons). As far as no human judgement, there is, but requires very little of it. Vac doesn't ban for what it THINKS is cheating, it bans for cheats. Not ever single wall/speed/aim hack is detectable. Just like an antivirus program, vac gets its definitions updated as new things come out, not the instant it does. So say you happen to play with someone that uses a hack that has not been added to vac's definition, you report it (assuming you're not like a chimp and randomly spamming it), valve looks into it, determines if what vac detected is in fact a hack, adds to the list, the person is then banned within an undetermined amount of time, all of which is just a dumbed down version of what goes on so you can understand, which brings me back to the whole pressing the elevator button repetitively. Vac doesn't insta-ban, and going to the forums you can search through the vac section to see exactly why.

I got caught?... Really???? I got caught doing what?... Tell me what I got caught doing. And tell my why they havent banned thousands for "supposedly" doing the exact same thing. Do tell, ol' wise one.

Do tell why Valve has a solid F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Do tell.

Irony?.... How about SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT. Hence, not following the STEAM TERMS OF SERVICE / COMMUNITY GUIDELINES and selectively banning people who they don't like.

So to sum it up, you haven't refuted the fact that Valve community admin vounteers ban people who they don't like while there is irrefutible evidence that thousands of other are allowed to do the same "inappropritate" things. Good job!

And i'm immature for pointing out the irrefutable fact that steam community admins ban people just beause they feel like it? Really?
I'm immature because many agree with the fact that steam community admins are immature and ban people just because they can? Really???
Do tell! I would like to hear more of your wisdom.

The main problem why those 'community bans' appear, is because you openly discuss and try to argue your 'previous ban'. This has to be done by messaging the moderator or contact the team. This kind of discussion should be kept 'private'.

General rule : Openly argue with a moderator

This thing you're doing now. Trying to rally up people who might have a complaint about steam. There are thousands of these people on the forums, all with specific kind of problems. And only a small number of people that actually try to help eachother. People who are with you, probably have totally different problems, others simply don't care and reply 'u mad ?'.

These kind of things have to stop. And 'reporting' players doesn't mean action will be taken upon one single report.

Stop complaining and start adding constructive criticism. Discuss private things privately with steam support and the moderator team and explain your situation. If you have been flagged by alot of users while there is no connection at all, there is a flaw in the system that has to be pointed out.

On steam forums this community has a problem with a flux of topics from people calling out 'Person A' being a cheater, while they send the URL to their friends to comfirm their story. It doesn't mean it has to be true, like you said before. People might rally up to get multiple reports on innocent accounts that have been flagged too much by the system steam is using. These kinds of things are constantly monitored and adjusted/improved, and by pointing out the weak points you can help steam improve. People are wrongly accused of cheating/community voilations, and that's why you can't name and shame people.

Through my own independent experience I am pretty much convinced that l4d2 has a much lower care for hackers in the vac system... Things I have used in L4d2 when just bored and messing around does nothing yet gets me vacd from Css IN LOCAL -INSECURE SERVERS.

Also people can run with these types of hacks and not get banned in one a year when there is nothing more blatant.

That was a year ago... both accounts still not vac banned.
