Read my post on that article.
He's also Batman's nemesis over the weekends.
Jokery aside. There are some days when jockey's always grab me to the point when I hear one I just say to myself "go for it, just pounce on me" waving a white flag and let it do it's thing and drag me to some corner of the map.
You just never feel like you're doing much with a jockey except delay the team by making them have to backtrack a few seconds.
Even though he's still useful, I just find him frusterating to fight against and to play as. He's more of a nusiance than a symbol of imminent death, esspecially since he's also the only special that has to fight with the victim for control
-Also, zombies seem to ignore jockeyed players and just let them past by.
- Even though he was designed for it, the jockey sucks at keeping survivors trapped in acid, mainly because the pinning infected do a better job at keeping them still once they're in the pool.
- The jockey is the only infected i know that can be easily kited accidentally. It can barely outrun anyone who isn't limping without leaping to catch up, so you can actually easily run and gun them to death if there's a distance between you.
- The jockey has one of the longest cooldown timers on his abilities after he's been shoved off or incapitated a player.
- Riding a person off a ledge doesn't hurt them at all. The jockey can't deathcharge or pull off instakills, and also a lot of buildings have 1 foot tall walls that he can't jump over.
- He feels too situational, he depends a lot on his enviorment to both hide and ambush, but in a wide open area he's easily shot down, esspecially once he's on a person.
- does the least damage of all pinning infected
- can not kill survivors like other pinning infected
- survivors can resist his movements
- longest cooldown ingame (along with boomer)
- unlike smokers who stay alive after "hanging" a survivor, or chargers who insta-kill survivors after "hanging" them, the jockey simply incapps them and kills himself aswell
- loudest of all the infected
- hardest to lay an attack with
10/14 posts here state that jockey is the worst
