Mods gone?

Hey guys, I had some L4D2 mods, quite a lot actually, and I'm still subscribed to the authors. I logged in and all of the mods were gone from the list.
I waited for them to load, and they finished loading like usual, but none of them were there ._.
Anyone have a similar problem?

ok.. if you have time, i did this, appeared to work.. Unsub everything.. Valve updated the game I think or workshop or something and screwed us..

Only do this when you got sometime.. took me 30 minutes
Ok, Unsub everything.
Load up L4d2.
Re-sub everything you want again, let it all load up.

Leave the game, turn it back on and make sure its still there.

I just did it, and everything is still there. Idk if it will help everyone or is gonna always work.

Munkee, your method works, in fact that was the first thing I did haha
Was just wondering if there was a small error that I could fix that would make all the mods appear, but Valve workshop update is a good explanation.

Well, it worked fine. But I noticed 3 were deleted still..
So just make sure it works still.

Ima just wait a bit untill i see any workshop updates on l4d2, or really want to play l4d2, i sub-unsubed everything on garrrysmod it messed up bad from it but its alot better than before, besides im gonna finish Half-Life 2 in the mean time.

I have the same problem

My problem is that my mods on l4d2 show up as working in the addon thing on the menu but they are not really working some might tho havent tested it.

same problem, gonna wait few days (see if somehow they manage to fix their own mess), then if nothing happens I'll try the fix above...damn Valve

[Update]: Resubscribed my mods one night and came back today.
They were EXACTLY like they were when the problem started, mods gone. I even installed a brand new mod and that didn't show up either T^T

I hope it's working out for everyone else though ^^"

Whenever there is a wide spread problem like this, all anyone has to do is wait. Valve always fixes important issues like this. If reboot Steam doesn't help, wait. Panic group posting accomplished little.

I sent steam a message a few days ago and they said they were aware of the problem. They didn't tell me when they will have it fixed.

I whole heartedly agree MasterBlaster. I just wanted to see if I was one of the few who had the problem ^^
Also, thank you for sending a message to Steam, Gash. Knowing that they are aware should keep us at ease :D
