This is the only game that I have on Linux where there is no sound. On other Valve games sound is working perfectly fine. What can I do?

You could try validating game cache, but I'm not sure if that would resolve the problem.

Check sound settings in-game, see if anything is off, or exceptionally low. It's probably all normal, but it's worth a check.

My only other guess would be to uninstall and reinstall the game.
Well, that didn't help :boomer:
Add SDL_AUDIODRIVER=alsa to custom launch options.
No luck with that custom launch command either :died:
Give us screenshots of pavucontrol then.

Hmmm, I don't know how to do that :(
KDE has KSnapshot, I don't know what to use in GNOME.

Is this it? http://www.dodaj.rs/f/33/VK/302S1v0c/snapshot1.png
No. pavucontrol is just called pavucontrol. If you don't have it, you are missing the pavucontrol package.

Oh, and console output mite b cool.

Okay, so pulseaudio does not even know about Left 4 Dead 2.
Launch L4D2 from console and post the output.

By the way, what does that mean? Does the game launch, but still without sound?

I'll be back tomorrow.
