Tips on Expert Realism?

I don't have Left 4 Dead on PC, but I do for X Box 360. Can anybody give some tips on how to play Realsim mode on Expert Difficulty without dying over and over again?

Well, if you're tackling Expert Realism, you should be able to get through Expert difficulty regularly without too much of a problem. You should know the maps like the back of your hand and know where items spawn, where weapon drops are, and various shortcuts moving forward or backwards. You should also be skilled enough to kill tanks consistently without getting punched or rocked, even if you don't have a fire source. Witches will be a cakewalk with any fire source or explosive ammo, but if neither are available you should still be able to kill her without crowning her with a shotgun.

Hopefully you're playing with people and not bots. If its people, then hopefully they know how to aim and not cause friendly fire on you, and if its bots, hopefully you can aim and not cause friendly fire on them.

Move through maps quickly, know how to shove and melee swing hordes down without taking damage. Know how to bob and weave through hordes while meleeing to avoid any damage and move forward at the same time.

Know how to deadstop hunters and jockeys, pop boomers and spitters, sidestep chargers and shove smokers and boomers.

For weapon choices I would suggest Tactical Shotgun + Melee Weapon or Deagle, or AK + Melee Weapon (katana, machete, or a fire axe).

These are just general tips but the most important things are to move quickly through maps without taking damage. If you were more specific with what you're having trouble with then I could help you more.

Same as you play any campaign on any difficutly. stay together and kill zombies. Ration your health items, dont shoot each other. That simple.

Oh yes, rationing your health items is important, and I assume you know that already if you're playing on Expert difficulty. If not, you can read my guide:

Buy it on PC, it's so much better with mouse and kb.

But the trick is to stay in eachother's sight. And for the achievement try it on Dead Center, it's by far the easiest campaign.

use Deagle is 1 hit kill, listen to the environment, stay close to your team, aim wisely to avoid tk, don't interfere with your team mates, while they fire.

Stick together take your time ( well not so slow just you know) If you say a horde behind a slow survivor just leave him or her hopefully they will understand. Sacrifice yourself at times so the other 3 can get to da choppa! *coughs* i mean safehouse. AND DONT FORGET TO HEAL GIVE SOME PEELZ TO LOUIS AND.... oh jesus i forgot um... AHA IF YOU SEE A TANK LIGHT IT ON FIRE RUN IF YOU CAN SHOOT WHILE RUNNING! VAT IS ALL
