Help needed
So whenever I try to play L4D2 I can get in lobby and everythings fine but when I go to load a game, once the games loaded, and I hear voices my screen stays black and just freezes, all I hear is repeating of the voices repeating over and over.


Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well Ive only really tried to play this 4 times since about a year ago, so its recent and its constant

Do you by any chance have mods that could cause it?

No I haven't I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it a few times

Damn.. I had same issue,. but it was just a mod doing it.. so i verified game cache. and it fixed.. thats all i can say.. sorry..

Dam I wonder what it could be, would it be easier if I recorded my problem so people could see?

I'll have it up tonight, I just have been playing L4D since it's my only savior atm and slow upload speed .__.

My friend creepercatboom has the same problem, we played once together perfectly fine and now he tells me its freezing when he tries to join the game server...

Have you try setting paged pool memory available to low? My game has a higher rate of crash when set to high.

Uhm, no I actually haven't tried that yet I'll do it now, but yeah its a really suck thing to have ._.
