Desert Eagle still possible to miss targets even at close range...

With the pistols it's easy to hit targets even on move.

While with DEagle, even crouching and aiming for the center of the body, crosshair tight and visibly "inside" the body, it's possible to still miss.

I wonder if it's inconsitency of the crosshair, propably abit wider than it appears.

Odd that it hasn't been fixed since game release.

Maybe it's a lag issue unless you are playing online?

If you are not using the DE (Desert Eagle) it takes more than one shot.

If it is the DE and you are shooting the infected and missing a point blank im not totally sure myself. Either I would restart and if the problem continues I would check integrity of the cache, or reinstall the game.

Well, I forgot some info regarding DEagle.

Not a lag issue, played single-player.

I'm talking about the crosshair, aiming it according to it's size, depending how close the target is ("target size"). Crouching tightens it, making it near pin-point.

I only miss because I miss aimed with thirdperson view.. other than that, it does a fine job for me..

Too true. I use melee weapons. And sometimes the game will NOT register a hit on the infected. Even though I am right up against them. Valve needs to fix.

Im aiming clearly on the commons and specials and i still miss. So melee for me.

never missed like how they are saying. but my katana, axe, bat, etc has gone through zombies can missed.
So I rarely like melee, I rather have mag or 2 pistols.
