Download 'WhoCrashed' and analyze your logfiles to determine the cause of the crash.

VAC doesn't kick/ban instantly. It might take a few weeks until the ban is forced. VAC has delayed bans.

Comments:
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver on your system that cannot be identified at this time.

If you are facing blue screen while playing, seems like hardware issue, not just with your game

Yeah, probably a hardware issue. Try to play simillair games, it might happen again.

Is this a laptop/desktop?

Do you use Bullguard? If so, that is the solution. Remove it completely and NEVER GO BACK!
I am talking from almost 3 years experience. Bullguard ♥♥♥♥ed up my PC.

And i know that it was ONLY Bullguard that did that.
Now i use Avast Free and everything is running like it should.

Maybe you use something else than Bullguard, but in the end, i would advise you (if you cant find a solution) to just remove your current antivirus program and install Avast.

Hope it helps ;)

Like what Mart said try Avast and it's FREE also ever since L4D2 was free on Christmas I noticed that the qualkity of the servers have declined, more crashing, more bad sprays (Furry, sonic po_n, racists, etc).

nothing wrong with my hardware, it only does it when quitting l4d2. i've had the game since release and not had a problem.

the log states its a software problem and i already use Avast and not the free one.

i have no workshop stuff on l4d2
