Add-ons crash me!

I'm a fan of alot of Add-ons for valve games, so i subscribed to a weapon skin for L4D2. I went to go play and try it out but when the game loaded, and i got inside the campaign the game started stuttering between my desktop, and my game. After about a minute my computer just freezes, i cant Ctrl+Alt+Delete or Alt+Tab out, all i can do is force shutdown my computer. I unsubscribed from the skin and tried it again, no luck. I later uninstalled the game and re-installed it, but still no luck. I even tried uninstalling, and re-installing my steam, which deleted all my games. It worked for the game, but the Add-ons still wont work. Please Help

okay are you running add ons that are red?
you should disable all add ons. then re-enable them one by one till you find the cause.
or un subscribe from the addons and then then reinstall the game.

the other one you can do is
CTRL+ALT+DEL
then select task manager.

what are you running? windows 7? or 8?

It might not be your addons.

Unsubscribe to the mods, and delete them from your addons folder. If this doesn't work, it is not your addons.

Alternatively: turn off Steam cloud sync to get rid of older settings. Might help.

Check your Windows event viewer logs.

I Deleted my Add-ons, and it didnt work. So im gonna disable cloud sync. See if that will do something.
