how to make this game more fun? [fun mods suggestions]

well this is the second game i bought on steam like a year ago and i dont have many hours on it, i tried campaign, survival, the other modes, played l4d1 with friends on xbox before like once at a friends house, vs mode, seems pretty generic imo, any mods that make weapons level or no? [like in killing floor] Also im not a zombie person really so that can explain things as well..

If you don't like zombie games, I don't think any mods will help you here.

Look at the Workshop and l4dmaps.com though, there are an absolute ton of weapon, map, cosmetic, and gameplay mods out there.

generic? this game pretty much started horde zombie fps had u played it when it came out u would have gotten alot of joy out of it, but its old now and noticibly dated, try 7 days to die over this imo
