Stats, rankings, and awards

Hey guys just wanted to ask what kind of rewards? , i really love progression in games and i heard this game doesnt have it , but well how those 3 features works? maybe can call that some sort of progression? : )
P.S i copied the topic from the list of features

The Steam client tracks things like your weapon and survival stats, but there isn't any actual progression; you don't unlock weapons, maps, etc.
