It is really annoying that STEAM L4D2 crashes randomly and extremely often on Mac's, even on the latest iMac with upgraded graphics cards. Have deleted L4D2 and reinstalled, have upgraded OS, have installed all updates for Steam and the lousy performance persists. A great game with lemon like performance.

One thing is performance, another thing is crashing.
I play fine on my mac, regarding to performance, but the game crashed every 40 minutes or so, for no apparent reason.
Game cache is verified and the issue persists, I cannot find the game log.
The same crash occurs on csgo and I cannot find what is the cause.

It closes suddenly to desktop, so I assume it crashed, but no error appears.

verify cache and is your computer 32 bit or 64 bit? If the game is 32 bit and your mac is 64 bit, tHATS the problem.
