but i want to play the hardest game, difficulty, what is it?

i know realism expert is tough, but is there harder?

like can i get headshots only on realism expert?
im going to obviously fail badly, but so what. i want to see how far and what i can do in it.

True, like those where you can't walk a mile without getting a horde larger than regular game would allow.

You can't even get to the motel on dark carnival... maybe you could after 10 tries or so and a medkit and pills.

Bypassing the censors is against the forums rules, dear Munkee. As for your actual question... pretty much what Bacca, stfuad, and Awesome said. Otherwise, Expert Realism is the hardest mode in the vanilla game.

If you want obscene difficulty, you'll have to use mods to some degree, or self-imposed restrictions.

Yea iron man is rage inducing. If you for *any* reason or time get wiped out you have to start all the way from the beginning of map 1. Just think of making it all the way to the finale only to die and have to start all over again from the first map, but your determination to defeat the challenge compels you to keep trying and do it all over again.

Special Delivery is also a rather challenging mutation on expert.

Combine that with your own personal limitations like completing either with only a pistol and you have yourself and impossible challenge of the highest caliber if thats truly your fancy.

rage inducing you say? It takes a bit to get me mad at a game.. so far, only 1 boss on devil may cry 2 is the only thing to make me so mad threw my controller and yelled ♥♥♥♥ so loud i woke my neice up..

so.. challenge accepted..

I like the Super Hordes mod. It spawns hordes of 400-500 zombies (the base amount is closer to 50-100, depending on difficulty) at a time, and only gives you 60-90 seconds after clearing one before it spawns another.

It ramps up the ammo amounts to compensate, but putting that on Expert basically requires Roman turtle tactics to survive. Either that or you progress by running from closet to closet and hoping a Spitter doesn't show up.
