Griefers
Is there any point in reporting someone who jumps in a game ive been playing, kills me, kills npc, talks ♥♥♥♥ "hurr durr are you mad?" and thats all they came to do? does valve do anything? one player i reported had 300+ hours on L4D2 and a 5 year steam account. This cant be the first time hes done this. Does no one report? or is nothing done about it? wich is it? I know how to block people and i do it but these people dont deserve to play at all. If they are that bored with the game they need to play something else.

people report, but steam doesn't care much for the players.

so gotta just deal with it.
play friends only, helps alot.

I don't even know if it makes a difference or not to report players. How reports are handled seems to vary wildly from one game to the next. I report players when necessary but I have no idea whether it results in anything or just makes me feel vindictive and therefore happier.

Reporting, no, it is doubtful that Valve ever does anything about griefers. Blocking, yes; you can at least prevent yourself from running into them again.
