What's harder: Campaign - Expert or Realism - advanced?
I have been experimenting with the harder difficulties now that I've beaten all the levels on advanced, and to me these two situations seem to be a rough equivalent of eachother in difficulty but for different reasons.

realism advanced in has many more difficulties for example many fewer healthpacks and resources compared to campain, but experts damage is in my opinion easier because you get more health given to you. i may be wrong but thats just what i have noticed.

Campaign - Expert is harder, as special infected and normal infected do up to 4x damage of zombies on advanced (while zombies hit you for five damage in the front in advanced, they hit you for 20 in expert). Realism - advanced shouldn't be as difficult if your team remains organized.

I concur now that I have throughouly tried both. Got through advanced - realism today after I built up a nice little pack of players after only having died some in the start of the game. MUCH easier than campaign expert in all ways.

The only hard thing about playing Realism Advanced is communication, really. So long as you're playing as a team and communicating clearly, it's not that difficult.

Playing Expert campaigns also requires solid teamwork and communication to be successful (either that or superb amounts of luck), but also takes a lot more personal skill in my opinion. All the communication in the world won't help you if you have a hard time landing shots and then zombies tear you to pieces for 20 damage each.

I play expert realism regularly and I'd say that regular expert is harder than realism advanced, but they're both different. If you're talking about just CI/SI/FF damage and maybe supply distribution regular expert is harder, but if you're thinking in terms of the changes from regular-realism, then advanced realism might be harder. If you're committed to using common weapons from campaign like sniper rifles advanced realism could be difficult. If you're used to guiding yourself through the game using your teammate's outlines, adv realism might be difficult.
