No Gore in Left 4 Dead 2?

Well I've had the game for about 2-3 years, But the problem is a friend from australia bought it for me, so does anyone know if I could get gore in my game?

I know you can turn gore on in offline singleplayer, but I don't know about online.

At times my game wouldn't show any gore--I assume it was to reduce lag because it would come in later on in the game.

No it's because my friend bought it from Australia and gave it to me.

Everyone if a want gore go to the site Left4Gore and download it then put it on your desktop,after launch that THEN go onto left4dead 2 and all NON VIOLENCE IS CHANGED. Everytime you want to play l4d2 with gore before you launch the game u must open Left4Gore. if this helps put a thanks on my profile page to give me trusted rep to let people know i like to help.
