Finally beat Bridge with other people online.
Welp, I finally *Truly* did it. Yes, I did beat it once with bots, but that's not saying much considering it is literally in bots 100% interest to keep YOU alive, and also there is no lag. But, today, ladies and gentleman, I can finally say I beat the bridge with the lag of being online involved. It was a rocky, sucky road though. It was by no means a perfect playthrough, nor did I win the achievement, but that wasn't totally my fault. You see I was playing a pretty perfect game... we all were, Battle2525 and Minarchist. We made it to the bridge, when a rage spammer, zim zam zimmerman decided to make sure we all died on the bridge. It made me really, really angry because I was about to get to the achievement, yes, sucky as I am at the bridge, I had actually made it to the Final Health Checkpoint open truck. This open truck is encountered shortly before you reach the semi-truck, and... believe it or not. I actually had been doing alright. I actually had a reasonable amount of health. I actually had a shot, and a pipe bomb, telling me I might actually make it... So, y'know, naturally zim zam zimmerman molotov cocktailed my feet and started shooting us. I was amazed at how quickly all that health went away... I mean, it always does to me right at that moment, but this time for unfair reasons. So naturally I died, we all died, and from then on, several BS situations happened. Once, the squad got scattered. A very *small* amount of lag caused me to slip off the bridge, while Ellis and Coach were killed. Minarchist, being the bang up guy or girl he or she is managed to get me up. A miracle right?! Of course, naturally during this situation where we are the only two left, a charger with incredibly limited space to build up a charge drags me off the bridge, killing himself. Because, y'know, I had a shot, and a PB, and around 86 health or so. Minarchist sucessfully survives and I am left behind, yet again. *sigh.* But... I said to myself "enough with this crap. I am going to freaking live this bridge online WHILE playing with other people. I am going to make it." I start up another game of the bridge now, I am enraged... I keep dying for BS reasons(the earlier game was NOT the only time I got charged off the bridge.), thinking every time the remaining survivors will overcome all obstacles(I am sure it's just my insanity, but it seems to me that me dying is good luck for any remaining survivors. I have seen some very small groups survive some pretty intense set backs and still make it to the chopper.) But, believe it or not, even though every game everyone was TRYING to make it to the chopper, no one happened to while leaving me behind. They always somehow were taken down, usually by my old problem(that being lots and LOTS of horde attacking from all sides at every possible moment.) Somehow... via some miracles, I managed to actually find myself on the chopper one of these times though. It was hell, and it involved a lot of generocity from the people I was playing with, and a trifle of selfishness on my part(I figured this could be allowed for *this* time though since I had been playing a pretty good game when I was betrayed, and was also playing a pretty good game when I got charged off the bridge.) My good friend Sizao healed me. Naturally, I got surrounded by horde and lost all that health. But... another miracle happens. There is a healthkit in the Final Health Checkpoint, and I used it. My pipe bomb is long gone this time, used at the moment shortly before you encounter the tank, but somehow, I managed to get on top of the semi. Bravely, my friends and I traverse the part of the bridge with all the holes(you're getting real close to the ending by this point.), we slaughter the stupid zombies who tryed to make us dead right after the hole-y bridge, and I start to feel victory running through my bloodstream. I know I'm close. I take my shot, but it doesn't get to be really used as I decided to wait for my new friends(also, pretty sure a special would have magically appeared and made me dead if I would've went down to the chopper alone.) They begin to come towards the dropoff point(where once you're there, you're maybe 30, 40 yards away from the chopper. Unfortunately, BS happened to Treetop and Aristotle, But... by this point, I was not going to let anything get in the way. I needed to be on that )(!*@*$!%#@ chopper. I go in there and WAIT. I tryed to shoot the zombies attacking my downed teammates from the chopper, but I start taking some hits from commons and coward my way into the depths of the chopper. It was looking like my buddy Sizao(Ellis) wasn't going to make it, everyone else was downed, he had only a lick of health left, when miraculously he healed and ran in with me so Nick would have someone to talk to while we're being rescued. ...For once. IT WAS MY TURN. It was my turn to be the one on the chopper. And it felt sooo good. I think if I can do that, I can be a real help to a real team in a game where things are going more smoothly, and have a real chance of beating all of the Parish all in one shot. The curse is FINALLY LIFTED!

I still have never heard of anyone having that much trouble with a single map. There are much harder finales.

YEAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, today, I tried again for a perfect game. This time I got a perfect game. Played on advanced, survived from front ot back, managed to actually have a *full* perfect game, and I got the Bridge Burner achievement. I saved that achievement for my first victory on advanced, and I have to say it was both well earned and well worth it. I helped my team a lot, right when we were almost to the chopper, we were getting swarmed, and I threw a pipe bomb, which started a chain reaction of 2 or 3 other people gloriously throwing our pipe bombs afterwards and promptly getting away. The tank tried SO hard to pick me out to die. When we got to the chopper area, unfortunately the second tank was already there and we had to go the route to the left, the longer route. When I was almost to the chopper, I got hit by a piece of concrete, but fortunately a friendly player named aViciousMan was nice enough to give me his pills to make SURE I got in the chopper after I was reduced to 30 some health. I was pretty close as it was, but anything can happen right outside that chopper, so the pills was the final nail in the coffin of that finale. I can now say more truly than ever that... I'm not such a n00b anymore, as the only challenge left now is expert.

Semi-auto Sniper makes the bridge very easy to get past from. You're basically shooting them before they get to you and cover your team while they advance, and you'll be constantly firing that thing. Just keep an ear out for those that do get near. Without this strategy, it can be pretty hellish. Just keep it in mind for next time.

Along with that and with a pipe/bile bomb or two you'll be passing chokepoints easily (mostly elevated parts where you can't shoot them before they're right on you, thus respawning again as soon as they're dead hince and repeat). Probably my least failed finale specially on Expert. I'm usually playing with 200ms or so, so there's also that.
