Will people using mic effect my OSPPM and such?

Hi was just wondering if players using their mic will effect my game. A couple people were using their mic during my game tonight. My game actually got past the car park but crashed in the graveyard. I was wondering, if people using mic DOES effect my likelihood of getting crashed, is there any way I can disable mic for my games or something like that?

not unless you have an audio issue / driver or codec related or hardware.
