Competitive L4D2?
Any website or forums where I can find competitve L4D2 players? Any ongoing tournaments or anything like that I can watch and learn the game or find a team?

www.l4dnation.com is a great start. There are two active groups that I know of that will mentor aspiring versus players: Left 2 Learn and L4D Academy. They play primarily on Promod, but also play confogl, Witch Party and Hunters Only.

www.watchl4d.com is currently hosting a tournament with over 30 teams. Currently in the second round. All the top streamers are listed on the left, and most of them are competitive L4D players (with a few exceptions -- some are just good public Versus players). A lot of tournaments are archived on YouTube as well.

Ahh neat, do most competitive players play on a special server or just the regular valve servers?

They have their own dedicated VAC secured servers for serious plays, like tournaments, but you can also run into them playing public versus games as well. Just look for the people being accused of cheating constantly :P

The live tournament matches are limited to the 8 players and 2 casters, random spectators are not allowed for lag and integrity reasons. As for the L2L servers, you either need to belong to a specific Steam group or you can possibly look for them in the server browser. Type "openserverbrowser" in the developer console.
