Something about versus boomer.

I was watching a video of L4D1 versus the other day and the guy spawned as a boomer. I noticed when he looked down, you can see the boomer's stomach and it moved around as the boomer walked.

I'm wondering if that is L4D1 or you can somehow enable it in L4D2.

I don't think you can do this. You can see the survivors and special infected torso/legs in Left 4 Dead 1 but Valve removed this "feature" in the second game for whatever reason (I believe they've once said this was changed for a performance boost).

Afaik there's no way to see the Boomer's "belly"/stomach in Left 4 Dead 2 because that is basically the same thing as the survivors legs. They got removed from the second game.

Thanks for answering. I was just wondering where it came from, though I did wish there was a way to enable the stomach and the legs and torso. Sometimes I feel like a camera with arms and a gun.

Yeah sometimes I feel like its all CGI on my home PC and the apocalypse is just a story from a game O_o
