Meh.. sorry the concept sounds really boring and barely any replayability as it sounds right now. The gameplay concept again sounds really low content and they need to come up with better things than that.

The video quite plainly shows:

Players playing L4D Tanks (x4) that work like L4D Tanks.
Players are playing Survivors (x4) that have sci-fi weapons.
On another Planet.
Protecting Generators.
Using Generator Fields to handle 4x Tanks.
With Torch Lights (not sci-fi infrared technology) like L4D.

Left 4 Dead goes Futuristic.
Planetside2 for 4-8 players.

They ripped off Valve and L4D2.
Ah-hhh... I mean they ripped off their own L4D that Valve did with L4D2; who now own both.

Turtle Rock Studios - "Couldn't think of anything else to do."

I dont know what to say to this i actually did a real life facepalm after reading your reply, you have it backwards frankly.

Read here please - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turtle_Rock_Studios

Synopsis:

On November 20, 2006, Turtle Rock Studios announced Left 4 Dead, a co-operative multiplayer action game.

On 10 January 2008, Valve Corporation announced that they had acquired Turtle Rock Studios.

Later in 2008, Valve shut down Turtle Rock Studios and let all the personnel relocate to Seattle to join them if they wanted to.

Agreed, i dont think anyone can apart from the internal testers who have played it.

Not sure what engine it uses, but it looks pretty sweet.

It actually looks more like the Patriarch fight from Killing Floor than anything-- the hard class synergy, fast-moving and OP boss, and prolonged length of the fight in general. L4D tank just serves to chip down the team's health and ammo for the Director to finish off, this looks much more difficult at the core.

There will be multiple types of monsters that play very differently. The 'Goliath' (the monster they've demod so far) is the hulking tank-like monster. There will be much variation with how the different mosters play when the final game comes out.

Come on guys, this is from the creators of l4d1, there will be plenty of replayability. And this is PRE-ALPHA footage of the game. They've only implemented 1 map and monster so far.

If you look at l4d/l4d2 'on the surface' its just 4 dudes running from one side of the map to another through a bunch of zombies, but anyone thats played it knows its much more than that, and it has depth despite the simplicity (especially vs. mode).

I think the concept looks great, and for pre alpha this looks damn good already.

Once there are more maps, more characters, and a variety of different monster types the game (and these are all things that are planned) will be looking much better on the re-playability side for sure.

Judging this game's replayability based on just this pre-alpha footage would be like judging l4d2's replayability from only seeing a single map and one of the SI types.

Oh, definitely. Dunno if you were responding to me specifically, but that comparison was not an insult . . . at all.
