problems with the work shop
i wanted to clean some old files of mods and looked up how to (unsubscribe and delete the file) but they are not deleting from the addons page in the game (they just don't have pictures on them and i can't use them in the games). It would be very helpful to get some help on this.

Unsubscribe and then delete them from your workshop folder inside your addons folder

that didn't work form me i tried both orders. unsuscribe then delete and delete then unsubscibe.

Unsubscribe from the mod.

Delete from L4D2's Addons and Workshop folders.

Turn off Steam Cloud.
Top left of Steam. Settings. Cloud. Turn off.

Revalidate L4D2
> Right click L4D2 in your Games Library - Properties - Local Files - Verify integrity of Game Cache.
