This is the Community of L4D2 not Steam Support but yas, to copy the game on another PC and want to open the game as multiaccounting, you violate the rules of copyright Valve

He's just trying to pirate the game. And no, he won't be able to access Your Account or anything. Tell him to buy the damn game, Jesus.
Valve games are something I wouldn't torrent due to too many patches and Steam-related stuff.
Realy ? I'll Forget that Then :D

Lol, no. You don't violate anything. The game just won't launch, simple as that.

You do, but he probably doesn't.

If you paid for these, why not just download them through Steam on your other computer?
Maybe because you are pirating them?
Thank you Bros I told him I wont :D
I Already Bought But I'm not sure if he did as well.

It's not him, it's his friend.
The only good reason to copy games from Your PC to a different one is due to connection problems. Or lazyness. I always transfer them when I don't want to sit for hours doing nothing while they're downloading.
(Well, not nothing, but Y'know, it's boring)

you can copy the folders over to his steam folder. he wont be able to play them unless he has purchased them. anyone that purchased them will be able to play the game if they log into their steam account on his pc. I've done this to avoid "long downloads"; just transfer thru wired gigabit to all my pcs.
