The 1 thing that NEEDS 2 be in l4d3: BODY ARMOR
I know that there are other topics about what you'd like to see in l4d3. I know that body armor has probably been mentioned. But, I feel this is important enough that it needs to have it's own personal topic, and be mentioned again and again and again. How cool would it be to suit up your team in body armor? To have that bit extra health even on expert realism, if you've earned it by finding body armor? To not go down in just 5 hits? How awesome would it be if armor was only about as rare as any other important item, so you can get a few people wearing suits? Or a particular crescendo or finale where there is 4 armored suits so everyone can have one? I think body armor should not count as one of the 3 carry-ables because it is worn. That way you could have all 3 important items aswell. I think putting it on should be a process like deploying special rounds or healing yourself with a health kit, meaning I think it should have a status bar which needs to be filled. I think it should be able to be worn down until it eventually comes off. I think it should greatly reduce damage but not block it completely. For that matter, there could also be a helmet, but I don't think putting it on should need a status bar. Before you go saying it will make you over powered, keep in mind the l4d2 party got a LOT of new toys, special rounds, defibrilators, there will probably be some new special infected and possibly a new mini-boss or final boss to balance things out.
