sv_consistency 0 troubles in l4d2

I typed sv_consistency 0 for a mod I wanted to try out in the console command like it said, and the game loaded up but I can't move or shoot. All I can do it move my sight around. Someone please help?

mm it might have problem in your settings press Esc button go to options keyboard/mouse then make sure u see Gamepad disabled if its enabled then disabled it

I'm pretty sure he moved on, solved by himself or gived up..

This guy hasn't been on his profile for over 2 months. No point in even replying to him since he won't read it. Some mods you have to restart the game and then type that command.
