Because they don't want to play with a newbie.

Jumping into public Versus games before playing Campaign thoroughly.

4.0 hours played.

No, just no. You have no idea what is required of you to be a good teammate in Versus. You have played the game for under 4 hours and still have no achievements to show for it, meaning you haven't even begun to grasp the basics of the game, let alone the more complicated things. Even people with 100 hours in Campaign do not know many things. This game is not simply about staying alive nor is it about pointing and shooting. This is not CS:GO.

It isn't fair to the 3-7 other players in your game to have to waste their time babysitting you when all they want is a good fun match.

I won't even delve into the fact that English doesn't appear to be your native tongue, which means that communication may also be a reason why you are having trouble with your team.

Yes, it does.

Yes, I was not good either, but the difference is that my first 4 hours in L4D were not 5 years after the original game's sequel was released. I played the original L4D when it was released, and those hundred plus hours of experience prepared me for L4D2. I also managed to get several achievements within my first 4 hours, and I was playing Single Player first, then Campaign mode, and only moved onto Versus after many hours of experience and outside research.

Just another arrogant ignorant noob.

Yes, just because you didn't play during release does not mean you are a bad player now. That is not what I am saying at all.

When a game is first released, the playing field is more or less even. Everybody "sucks", there is little to no literature/media content to teach players, and the metagame is in its infancy.

5 years later, the standards have been raised. There are highly experienced players and there are still new players, as well as everyone in between. There are mounds of research to be read and videos to be watched, and the metagame has evolved to include an assortment of tactics, all of which need to be learned in order to catch up to the crowd.

Please take your 10 hours played and stop trying to seem like you're an accurate judge of others. If your reading skills are anything like your gaming skills, you don't know anything.

the point of a game is to have fun not to be a test of abilities

only time the is for fun arguement holds true is in soccer where they dont keep score and everyone gets a trophy

Your argument is completely pointless. Yes, the point of a game is to have fun. We all have fun differently. Some of us have fun by constantly testing our abilities. It is not fun to have to babysit someone on your team who only has 10 hours played. It isn't even fun to demolish such a player on an opposing team. Especially if such a player is arrogant enough to think that they know how to play the game with their limited hours of experience, or that they're "not so bad". You don't know squat, and your ignorance detracts from other players' ability to have fun -- hence the kick. You have no basis to judge your own skill or that of others.
