A plot hole in Left 4 Dead
As we all know the infected are attracted by loud noises, be it car alarms, pipe bombs or the crescendo events. But when you shoot your guns, which is as loud as a car alarm or a pipe bomb, the infected behave like they were deaf and don't react at all. This is propably made for gameplay reasons, but from the view of ingame logic the infected should attack you non stop due to you shooting your guns. Or at least all infected on the street should run at your position.

It'd also make the silenced SMG a viable alternative to a higher-tier weapon.

How about the fact that the exploding plane in Dead Air doesn't attracts any infected?

Try this, turn the flashlight off and walk with shift close to your mate that is making quite "noise", and see the difference of horde upon him and upon you.
Each common, automatically selects a target, and he will attack on that target, and that target is chosen based on noise, light and shots.

It's based on old school zombies, logic is not a factor.

If we're really logical, this game would have no zombies since that is impossible.

Not really plot holes but other illogical things:

-you will be tired after 5-6 bashes but you can swing an axe unlimited times
-one shot will trigger an alarmed car but when a horde of zombies climb over them it wont...

Im sure there are other examples also, but we all know this is just a game.

Some campaigns, we are in swarms, forest... middle of no where. How the heck there are so many zombies?
How come Spitter acid dont damage the zombies?
I keep hitting an armored zombie, there are blood spashes but he dont die

In fact, with the Mac-10's double stage suppressor, which is the Silenced SMG for those who don't know, it actually is virtually silent. The only noise you can really hear is the bolt moving back and forth.

Or at least, that's what I think I remember. Haven't read up on weapons in a long ♥♥♥ time, so feel free to correct me if neccessary.

Other illogical things in L4D2:
-Running in ankle deep water slows you down.
-Zombies can run waist deep (or deeper) in water.
-ALL doors in the United States are THAT thin and fragile that they can be broken down? I understand a Tank being able to break a door down.
-ALL walls in the United States are less than an inch thick that they can be broken down?

I think there is more but it's still just a game. XD

The door part makes no sense nor the walls.
Doors aren't that strong, take like 5 buddies and punch and ram a door, eventually you will break it. Same with the walls, if they aren't built solid. Like my wall in my room, If I kicked and rammed it enough, I could eventually break through.. which scares me if a hurricane hits.

I know this is a old comment, but they don't get hurt because they don't feel pain. If you have rabies you can be shot 3 times and not even notice.

But hit something enough and it slowly gives out.Left 4 dead kind of just sped that up.
