Sound mod doesnt work

Hey i downloaded a sound mod which should be played when i am fighting against a tank but for some reasen it doenst. Does anyone know how i get these sound mods to work?

Is it the only sound mod you have for tank? After you start up the game and it stutters(this is the game verifying and applying all your mods), go to the manage mods menu and see if it says anything is conflicting. If it is, just unclick the other tank mod(s) and 'done'.

Otherwise, it may be a bad mod or download. If verifying your game files doesn't work(right click on game in Library, then Properties, Local Files tab, then bottom button), then it IS most likely a badly made mod.

Delete your ADDONLIST.TXT file. Then try again. L4D2 reads this file and places a higher priority of mods higher up in the list. So if you have another sound mod listed above your new one, it will not play. You can manually edit this list and move your mod to the top.
