Mod Confliction
Hi, everybody on Steam. I have around 10 mods that conflict with eachother and I cannot play the game without them for the full ponified weapon experience. Is there a way where I can go into the .vpk files that conflict with eachother and change them just the slightest bit? These are mostly HD reskins and a model replacement. All help is appreciated, and I thank you all in advanced for the help and just a moment of your time to read this.

The new conflict system delivers a lot of false positives. Does the game function normally while all the mods are on? If yes, you can ignore the conflicts and keep going.

While you can open .vpk files with a program called GCFScape it is not advisable to do so unless you know what you are doing.

Well I say, what a polite young chap.
Like captain said - is it possible? Yes. Should you do it? Probably not.
Although, I feel the best way to learn is by experience.
Also as captain said, have you tried running the game to see if it may actually work? Although, don't be surprised if you get half way through a game and you crash/freeze.

Thank you two for commenting. I tried playing the first map of Dead Center with the conflicting mods enabled, and in either the introduction or when I hit the first zombie with a bullet or melee weapon such as an axe or frying pan it crashes the game, freezing in place and playing the same sound over and over again. I'm hoping to find a tutorial on Youtube or somewhere on the internet on how to modify mods so they won't conflict with eachother. Again, thank you for your time and for the helpful advise you have given me. Any additional help is gladly appreciated as well.

That crash does not sound like something a mod conflict would cause, I think there's a different issue going on. What mods are you using?

Maybe you shouldn't install the mod. Some of the mod will conflict.Just like The Elder Scrolls 5
