Stop complaining about the community
There are way too many threads about complaining about the L4D2 community. Yes we know there are elitists, trolls, noobs, mic spammers, and everything in between. I get it; I've encountered all of them. I've been kicked for missing a charge in Versus, I've been team killed, I've been cursed at for barely getting to the safe room and leaving my incapped team behind in a truly hopeless situation, and I've had the displeasure of winding up with a noob on my team who downs pills with green health and immediately heals with a health pack they found 10 seconds later while the rest of the team is bleeding. Almost every multiplayer game will have these types of players. Complaining about it isn't going to change the way people think and play. Should really good players give weaker teammates a second chance instead of instantly kicking them? Maybe, maybe not. Should weaker players get better at Campaign instead of jumping into Versus? Yes and no. Campaign (especially on higher difficulties) will make you a better player, you'll be more familiar with maps, item locations, etc. But at the same time you can't hope to be a competent infected if you don't get Versus experience. I see both sides of the "Elitist vs New Players" argument, but I'm tired of all the threads raging about it. Odds are nothing is going to change. If someone else's play style bothers you, then find another game, play with friends, or make friends who suit your style of play by skimming the threads i.e. "Looking to play some Campaign" or "Expert Realism players needed." Or perhaps you should consider adapting your own play-style if it's something that's often detrimental for your team i.e. using health items at bad times, not coordinating SI attacks in Versus, straying too far from the team too often, etc.

Anyway, point is stop complaining because it's really not going to do anything productive. Make threads asking questions on game mechanics or other topics that will be beneficial. Thanks.

Good advice. Problem is, it will not stop the complaining. We can all hope Valve will start dealing with those kinds of threads. They sure look out for their CS:GO forum boards. I wish they would spend equal time for the L4D 2 forums.
if only everything where this simple.

Stop complaining about the community complaining about the community!
It seems like a lot of the worst flame wars originate from very low-hour players who have tried to play competitively only a handful of times and who are upset at the treatment they receive in these few games. They usually aren't the type to actually read other posts in the forum, including this one, and who aren't interested in anything beyond arguing and leaving under 60 hrs.
hello.
I`m japanese.

It is simple. The people that come here to complain just did not accept their choices & responsibilities. They made the choice to join a public game, but do not want to accept the responsibility that comes with it when they are kicked. Simple fact is: do not join a public game if potential frustration is going to happen. But do the majority move on? Do they forgive & forget? NOPE ! They come here all hurt & whine about it. Truely pathetic if you ask me.

Let them argue. And let them keep geting kicked. And if they leave all salty, then let them. If people would just simply get over their bad experiences it would be better. But no. People do not want to be a better person. They blame others for their own faults. It happens in public campaign games too. And seeing them quit is good too. It's not like if someone leaves there is no one to take his / her place. The bots just take over. Then people can continue like normal.
I agree that players who have become a liability for the team should take responsibility for the consequences of their actions, and not complain about it over the forums. Then there are players who do get kicked even if they haven't done anything wrong; but that doesn't mean they should just whine about it anyway. Whatever the case, they should just go find a different game and get over it. We've all been kicked and dealt with some scumbags in-game but sometimes that's just the nature of multiplayer games. You can choose to let it bother you, or learn from it and move on.
I can't help but feel as though the community was better during L4D1 times (I'm lying to myself). There is no need to complain in all honesty. If you really can't stand playing with people who suck, then find people to play with. Personally, I'd like to play with some people who are actually decent at the game I just can't be bothered to do so. I don't mind playing with other individuals though. More than not they aren't so great but that just provides a greater challenge to over-come. Nothing like playing with a bunch of random individuals with varying skill levels, against a team full of organized players.
I find this hilarious, since mentioned as the owner of the thread, This will not change in anything, the newbies will be newbies, will continue to the range to "qualify" one player Considerably in hrs, & the community is Governed by competition but, what is sure to come this community You have to prove yourself That You should always give your best, although many complain and just be kids with the stupids butthurt, this community I ah-taught to always give my best, not only here but also my daily life. It's like the army, this is not for puppies. Only the fort will continue surviving.

It is the only rebuttal we have people.
seems steem nolonger cares about hackers in L4D2 games.
I was once kicked for my ping. I live in a town with about 3000 people and only two internet providers. The other one, sucks more than the one that I use now. For the first time, I discovered what it was like to be discriminated against. It sucks :/

If your ping is like 100-200, that is not a big deal to me. If it's anything beyond that, you risk crashing the server and I would kick you for that. Sorry.

HOW ABOUT YOU ALL SHUT THE ♥♥♥♥ UP.

Crashing can occur only in scavenge though? I had a lot of cooperative and versus matches in my time (4 years ago on different account) on ping 300+ and none of the servers has crashed.
