Just felt like sharing a hilarious story after an attempted run through Parish on expert. I realize there's a danger that comes with playing in public lobbies and I usually laugh it off whenever we get stuck with a griefer, but what happened today was so funny that I feel like it's worth writing about.
So, people dropped in and out as they usually do, and only one other guy was with me halfway through map 3. We get these two idiots who join in and start opening fire on us, and shortly after the party gets wiped. I try to votekick one and the votes go 2-2, so at this point I roll my eyes since at this point it's obvious that they're accomplices...misery loves company, after all. We start over from the saferoom and like any good, creative griefer, one immediately grabs the auto-shotty and kills us while his friend goes idle. Neither one leaves the room, so I decide to put some music on to entertain myself while I sit in silence and watch how long it takes these two ♥♥♥♥♥s to hijack the game.
The guy who was playing with me said a few choice words, then eventually got frustrated and left, and then of course I was votekicked right after, but after two or three failed votekicks by them, I couldn't help but to start cracking up at how pathetic these sorts of people must be. This ♥♥♥♥ is so broken.
Ain't even mad...I learned long ago not to take these sorts of things seriously, but that's my afternoon. This sort of thing has probably happened to countless others, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. Anyone else have a story like this to share?
