Make a private game. Don't want to deal with them don't play with them. That simple.

Valve added the votekick system to kick anyone 3 people don't want to play with. Most hated idea, but completely fair.

Friends only games.

Try your best to help them learn.

New players aren't too bad. As long as they actually help the team. If they ignore you, run off to search for items when the 3 other people want to move faster, they deserve a votekick.

I just play the game. Simple as that. All I ask is:
1) Please do not shoot teammates.
2) Do not rant on the voice. Or I mute you.

I'd say expand your horizons and find something else to play. If it wasnt for noobs this game would be dead, so instead of fighting against the irony, just move on or learn to deal with it.

You think it is fun for noobs to play with impatient jerks (not that your a jerk) with over 1,500 hours that have every inch of every map memorized better than their meatsticks? I have almost 300 hours and i pretty much quit because the number of straight up jerks.

There is no noob problem. New players keep games alive. If you want to play exclusively with experienced players, play with friends.

The solution probably does not include whining about it.

I don't mind new people or veterans. What I don't like is when noobs talk crap to me when I know what I am doing when I play. At the same time, a lot of veterans I come across are not that great either. Some are just like the noobs. And start negative things when the game is not going there way. And usually try to blame me.

A option that is always a great idea. You can almost always expect friends only games to go well. I just think people have to get into a different mind set when playing public games.

Key word is some. I've have gotten so fed up with this game's community that I almost exclusively play with friends at this point. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who made this thread is the prime example of why this community is terrible.

No, the gnomes.. you need to play more to realize its the gnomes.. the day you free chompski they will haunt you.. even if you don't notice them, they are there.. watching. When your shoe is on the wrong foot.. that is the gnomes.. missing something? Them. Then you wake up, them surrounding you.. coming out the trees and bushes.. no where to hide.. no where to hide.. no where to hide...

Basically what I'm getting from all of this is that the L4D2 community is just awful.
