Scar replacement.

Does anybodyknow an addon that replaces the Scar (60-ammo/3 rapid fire gun) that is top rated? Much appreciated for comments and thoughts on orginial scar.

AUG on the workshop, there's also a better skinned SCAR-L on left4dead maps.

Not a huge fan of the AUG in the workshop because the weapon animations for that is really funky in comparison to the stock animations. Arby26's M4A1 is more pleasing to the eyes and is an overall quality-replacement(you won't find that in the workshop, have to look outside).

Last one replaces hunting rifle, not SCAR.

Technically any weapon model you get from the Workshop can be re-made to replace any weapon-ingame that you wish.

Open the .VPK with Gcfscape.
Extract Folders
Rename Folders (To relevant Weapon)
Repack into .VPK
Replace into Workshop Folder

Done.

My point stands though. Why do I see threads like this on a daily basis?
"What are some of the top-rated X mods?"

Go to the Workshop. Use the SEARCH BAR.
You can even set it to 'Top Rated all Time' or other relevant criteria.
