Why do people join then leave?
It's annoying when you're trying to get a lobby full with people but they constantly leave a few seconds after joining, even when the lobby is half full. Or when ingame players just ragequit. I think that in future left 4 deads, they should follow in Halo's footsteps by making it a chance of getting banned for a few hours if you quit to many games, unless you're kicked.

Might be because they didn't want to play said campaign anymore or just got invites from people to other games. Most of the time if I join and leave it's because I either stop playing or got invited to another map. That ban function might be a good idea to stop it but may cause too much damage in the long run.
could be game crash, wifi crash, computer crash, vital organ failure, non-vital organ failure, if they r a machine there are so much more options too im basically saying u shouldnt care
I wouldn't care at all if there were more players, it's sometimes hard to get in decent games, or host your own.
yah most my friends play l4d2 so i never havt 2 long 2 wait
I have about 2 other friends that play so its not as bad as it could be finding team mates but the enemy team always quits mid game
i play campaign alot and i have like 6 friends who play so im always good
Steam servers group dude, steam servers group (:
Probably because they are looking to jump directly into a game in progress. I've noticed a fair amount of people arent interested in spending time in lobbies. I've even seen people drop out of games right before the end just so they can join another random game.
I would hate being temp-banned because my team is legitimately bad. It's like being temp-banned in TF2 because no one wants to play their class and everyone's a Scout on Defense.
i dont mind spending time in lobbies if people r talking but if its dead silence then i hate it
